As
you emerge from the trees, you are greeted by the view of this valley with the
ocean beyond. Idyllic comes to mind! |
| Greg
squishes down to fit into this picture of a rock. |
 |
 |
The
dunes here were gorgeous as they were covered in plants. |
| Holy
cow, I let someone else use my camera long enough to take a picture of me! Don't
worry, I won't let it happen again. |
 |
 |
Along
the beach there was a large rock outcropping that had obvious levels to it.
I thought the texture of it was really interesting, so I took a picture of it.
Looking at it now, I can almost make out a monster's face in it. Raaarrrr. (This
by the way is why I shouldn't make webpages late at night.) |
| This
is the rock formation mentioned above! You can also see all the weird purple
dead things in the foreground that got washed up with the winds. I think the're
called sailfish, and are related to the jellyfish. |

 |
More
rocks, but this one had a tidepool next to it. |
| Kristin,
Greg, and my brother, Mike wait patiently for the shutterbug to finish what
she's doing and get going already. |
 |
 |
The
moon is getting an early start today! |
| Did
I mention I thought the dunes were really pretty? |
 |
 |
A
starfish! We found this guy in one of the many tidepools. |
| This
is a sign that says cable landing. We did not see any cable docking while we
were there, but if it did, I'm sure this is where it would go. |
 |
 |
Another
more abstract shot, I liked the pattern in the rock and the green color caused
by the water. And it kinda looks like alien elephant skin. |
| One
last picture of the pretty dunes before we leave! |
