Finding time in my not-so-hectic schedule and needing a general break from reality, I decided to head down to visit my friends in Santa Cruz, and my family and friends in SLO. While in Santa Cruz I made sure to go to one of my favorite locations, the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

After that, I drove down to San Luis Obispo in time to catch the planets aligning and went on a walk at Montana de Oro with my brother, his girlfriend, and my friend Greg. I also made sure to snap a few pictures of the poppy fields in my parent's backyard.

I had so much fun, I went back two weeks later.
