Asher Turns 30!
(but still acts 12!)

Asher is a long time friend of mine. I met him when I worked at Thuridion back in 96, and we just hit it off. Our practical joke style gelled well, and we always have fun when we hang out. So when he told me he was having a huge 30th birthday bash, no way was I missing it! We all met at his place for a barbeque and then went off to watch Spiderman on opening night. I'm hoping this webpage is embarassing enough to Asher to get him back for that horrible picture of me he currently has up on his site.

	Dan (Asher's housemate, and also longtime friend of mine) stayed up all night baking these cookies. Ash managed to eat the A and S before I got down to take a picture. The funny part is we pointed out if he'd eaten the E and R, it'd still have made sense! Instead we called him "Her" for a while.
I stopped by Thuridion to meet up with Laurie and Ash for lunch. Laurie snuck her present to him early, and here he is holding the very attractive bag. Guess calling him "Her" got to him, judging by the way he's holding it...
	Time for the barbeque! Meat lover's paradise! These burgers had big peppercorns in them, too. VERY tasty. Not for the vegetarians, though!
Present time!! Ash made the unfortunate mistake of mocking his other friends a lot when they turned 30. As far as they were concerned, this was PAYBACK time!
	Ash, we knew you liked Pokemon, and especially Pikachu, but... ummm, could you take that to your ROOM, please??? Pika, pika...

Invader Zim hat! Doesn't asher look stylish? Ash really likes hats. I don't think a party goes by where he doesn't receive at least one hat.
	Action shot of Asher preparing for Spiderman! After the movie we asked Asher what his favorite part of the movie was. His response was, and I quote, "when Stan Lee went boom!" We STILL have no idea what that means. I went and saw the movie again with him on Sunday, and even he has no idea what he meant.
This was my present to him! I drew a small selection of our group of friends in anime style and framed it. Ash is a huge anime freak, so I felt it was fitting. In the center is Asher, and going down and counter-clockwise, Anthony, Me (with the halo of course), Laurie and Shane and one of their rabbits, and Dan.
