Marymoor Park
Sammamish River
Redmond, WA

This is really a bike trail, although a number of people walk or rollerblade along it as well. The trail is over 11 miles long, and we certainly didn't do all of it! I wasn't really in the mood to take photos, so there aren't as many as I'd usually take. But here are the few I took.

The trail starts near the entrance to the park. There's a windmill across the bridge you drive over as you come into the park. Here's the view of it you get from the trail.

It was an extremely clear day and the cascades were out in force. We kept getting glimpses of it but most of the trail is surrounded by trees. As we went under the freeway, we were afforded a quick glimpse again. The cool thing is this is a pretty common sight when you're driving around Washington. When it's not raining it is so beautiful!

The Canadian Geese are beginning to return to the area. I've just begun to hear their very loud honking sounds overhead. Here a Canadian Goose stopped for a bite to eat. Canadian Geese are actually a big problem in Washington because they poop SO MUCH it destroys parks. There's a sign I'll take a picture of next time about the geese and their pooping problem that was quite nice.

Here's a nice picnic spot under a weeping willow. It was across the river and I'm not quite sure how you get to it, but it sure looked pleasant. After this I got tired of taking pictures and put the camera away. We turned around not far away from here anyway..
