Frolicking on Mt. Rainier
Due to the large size of our party (7 people) we had to rent a minivan to cart us all around. When we saw our Pontiac Montana sitting in the Avis lot the first thing that lept to our minds was "This is as good as it gets!" Chucky, vehemently denied this, just showing how inexperienced he really is in wonderous occassions. This of course, became the running joke. The other running joke is something I refuse to share with my family, so I won't be printing it here.

Here are links to the lyrics of the songs we sang while heading to Mt. Rainier (just like you were there with us!):
Found a Peanut
The Bear Song
Bumble Bee Song
Row, Row, Row Your Boat (as a 7 part round)

Our Pontiac Montana is as good as it gets!
Snow covered Mt. Rainier from the paradise parking lot.
The cascades from Paradise

Group shot! Here we are in front of Nisqually River
Nisqually river
Only the siblings realize it's picture time
The bridge over Narada river.
The top of Narada falls
Chucky is introspective after glimpsing the power of Narada falls

Mischa shows us his dirty hand
Scott pauses from making snowballs
Scott and Robbin ham it up

THIS is as good as it gets. Chucky stands before 18' of snow at Paradise

Scott stands atop the wall of snow at paradise
Mischa and Scott enjoy the view from 18' up.

A tree branch sticks out from the snow
Steve "the body" lifts his weight in snowball
Part of paradise inn buried in snow
Steve, Ben, Robbin, Chucky, Scott, and Mischa walk between walls of snow towards Paradise inn

Scott waves from the top of the snow wall next to the Mt. Rainier visitor center
Mischa comes sliding down..
Followed by Steve
Man, that was exhausting! We must have walked 50 yards!
Chucky looks down from upstairs at the Paradise Inn
Robbin and Chucky ask how Mischa and Scott plan to get down.
Steve vandalizes the snow. (Actually, it already said CARN, and he didn't even add the EY)
Steve brutalizes his sister. (Actually, this is fake, too. No sisters were harmed in the making of this picture)
