Skyline and Desert Scenics

The location we decided would be best for taking photos of the show just so happened to have an amazing view of downtown. We got there in time to see the sun set and it was one of the most beautiful things I've had a chance to witness. The glass of the buildings downtown reflected the sunset and as the lights started coming on it created quite a breathtaking view. So as you can imagine, I took a LOT of pictures of it.

The next day, we headed east to see the desert. We ended up driving until we got to an old tower overlooking a valley. We paid the $5 or whatever it was to climb to the top to see the view. It was a pretty impressive vista to say the least! I didn't take very many photos, and a lot of them didn't turn out because of the harsh lighting. You'll just have to believe me that the desert has a beauty all it's own.
